Steps to Placement

In the UK many schools need the application one year ahead of entry. Plan in advance so you know the language level required – and discuss with us summer camps and other learning options for your child to improve their English level.
1. Apply Today

Fill in our application form, and we will contact you to arrange an initial consultation with one of our experienced consultants.

2. 30 Minute Consultation

The initial 30 minute consultation is free of charge and can be arranged either face-to-face or via Teams. This is an opportunity to discuss your child’s educational background, interests, aspirations and future.

3. Detailed Proposal

After a more in-depth consultation you will receive a detailed proposal outlining further steps including the choice of schools with their entry dates, entry requirements and school visit dates.

4. Student Preparation

To be accepted into a UK independent school, every child should have an appropriate level of English. We can provide a comprehensive English level assessment face-to-face or online to establish your child's current level and suggest areas that may need improvement.

5. School Visits

To be accepted into a UK independent school, every child should have an appropriate level of English. We can provide a comprehensive English level assessment face-to-face or online to establish your child’s current level and suggest areas that may need improvement.

6. Register

After the visits, you will be able to register with a school or schools of your choice. The main school intakes are at 11, 13, and 16 years old but in some cases entry outside of set timeframes may be possible. Candidates are required to sit entrance exams which include English and other subjects.

The Final Steps

Once your child has been accepted into a school, he or she will need to have an educational guardian throughout their school years. We can help to find an experienced and caring guardian. For more information on guardianship, click below.
